In the global race to collect passport stamps, these countries are the most popular.

The World Bank collected the number of visits each country receives every year. The list below is based on their latest data. How does it work? A few caveats:

• The country the person visited had to be outside their residence.
• The visit has to be shorter than 12 months.
• The person wasn't visiting for work.
• The way some countries count visits vary so caution should be used in comparing across countries.
